Following earlier market talks that a Tesla, Inc. (TSLA.US) team conducted factory audits in Ningbo to pave the way for mass production of Optimus, The Paper cited sources as saying that Tesla's robotics team started factory audit work last week at supply chain companies including TUOPU GROUP (601689.SH), SANHUA (02050.HK) and JOYSON ELEC (00699.HK).

These companies primarily supply core electromechanical components such as joint modules, actuators and precision structural parts. Before Tesla's latest factory audits, the above-mentioned companies had already secured orders related to Tesla humanoid robots, although the order sizes differed, report told.

Moreover, Tesla's factory audit work was not limited to Ningbo as rumored online, sources divulged. This round of visits by Tesla's robotics team also covered supply chain companies in Yangtze River Delta areas including Hangzhou and Shanghai.
